
            We would like people from all over the world to know about Japanese Ramen as well as the belief regarding food and service of Bankara more, the workshop is called Bankara University has been launched. The workshop is designed for non-Japanese people to experience making Ramen. It is a precious experience as if you become an apprentice to a Ramen Restaurant in Japan. Come join us!
                
                We have 4 participants this time.
                After introducing to each other,
                each  individual  is  handed the
                actual uniform used at
                Bankara. By wearing it, it
                makes you more excited.

                At Ramen restaurant, cheerfulness
                is very important! The participants
                experienced the actual morning
                assembly being conducted at Bankara.
                Chant the policy for service
                aloud, as well as practiced “Irasshaimase!”
                (welcome to the restaurant!),
                and “Arigatougozaimashita!”
                (Thank you very much, come again!).
                Got them even more excited!
              
                
                The lecture given by instructor
                Hagino, participants learned the
                history of Ramen, the market,
                and the ingredients. Feeling the
                actual noodles to see the  rmness
                of noodles and the difference
                in textures, and tried tasting
                several different kinds of soup.
                Participants asked many questions
                such as “does this soup
                contain kelp broth?”.
              
After receiving a recipe, move to the kitchen.
                The kitchen is just like an actual kitchen at Bankara, and using the same kitchen utensils and bowls to make Ramen.
                After watching the demonstration how to prepare Kakuni Bankara (Ramen with braised pork belly),
                and pork bone broth given by Chef Hattori, each participant tried making Ramen.

You can eat Ramen you prepared! Slurp them, and “mmmm yum!” All the participants actually loved pork bone broth Ramen.
【Class Schedule】 Classes are held every third Wednesday of the month for 2 ½ hours from 16:00 to 18:30. (Special class arrangements are available but are still subject for approval depending on the number of participants. Contact us for more details.)

【Reservations】 Reservations must be made 10 days prior to the actual date of training.
【Minimum required number of participants】 At least five (5) participants per class.
